David Solomont brings over four decades of experience in working in the software, technology, media, gaming, and transportation industries.

While working for a number of companies, Solomont has developed well-built professional skills in business development, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and venture capital.

Being an experienced investor and advisor, Solomont invests in early-stage technology companies, to which he also provides his advisory services on business development, funding, mergers and acquisitions, and team building.

Solomont is also a skilled entrepreneur. He founded ev Transportation Services, Inc (“evTS”) in 2018. Since its inception, to date, he serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO. Moreover, this entrepreneur also founded Common Angels in\n1998, one of the first institutionalized angel groups in the country, and Business & Professional Software, Inc. in 1980.

Throughout his wide career, David Solomont has worked for a variety of companies and institutions. To highlight a few: Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, where he served as a founding Trustee and past Chairman, Museum of Science in Boston, where Solomont was as an Overseer and member of the Information Technology Committee, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where he has held a position as a Technology Advisor to the Internet Working Group. Since 2018 David Solomont serves as Chairman at OYO Toys.

David Solomont studied at Maimonides School. After finishing high school, Solomont enrolled at Tufts University, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Furthermore, Solomont finished his master’s studies at the MIT Sloan School and received a Master’s Degree in Management from this university.
